01About the property

Aspendos Suites is an apart-hotel close to the sea, established on 24 August 2016 in the Altınkum neighbourhood. Our property consists of a single building with 20 rooms; it is family-friendly, warm and comfortable. All rooms have been specially designed and equipped to host our guests in the best possible way.

The hotel sits in the midst of the Mediterranean’s rich cultural heritage. It is very close to Kaleiçi and near the world-famous Konyaaltı Beach, and offers easy access to the ancient cities of Aspendos, Termessos and Perge, ancient Myra in Demre and the Church of St Nicholas. Free parking is available for guests arriving by car.

03Sustainability policy

With the aim of sustainable tourism, we focus on protecting natural resources, implementing environmentally friendly practices, contributing to local communities and raising our employees’ awareness of sustainable tourism. For details, see our Sustainability Policy.

04Water consumption

• We use water-saving equipment.
• We place an “Environment – Towel – Linen Card” in rooms explaining that towels and sheets are changed at the guest’s request.
• We use aerators on all room and public-area fittings and maintain them regularly.
• Tap flow is limited to 5 l/min and showers to 8 l/min.
• Toilets use water-saving and/or dual-flush systems.
• We train our staff in saving water and reporting leaks.
• Our irrigation runs on an automatic timer, and we prefer local plants that need little water.
• We track water consumption daily, monthly and yearly and calculate consumption per guest.
• Our waste water is connected to the local sewer system in line with discharge regulations.

05Electricity and energy consumption

• We buy new equipment with energy efficiency in mind.
• We use sensor lighting in public areas and LED lighting throughout the hotel.
• We maintain electrical equipment regularly.
• Double glazing improves our energy efficiency.
• Garden and general lighting run on daylight sensors and timers.
• We train all staff in saving energy and measure consumption daily, monthly and yearly.

06Waste management

• We run a waste reduction programme in all departments under a “Zero Waste” approach.
• We separate hazardous waste and dispose of it through licensed companies.
• Garden waste is stored separately and sent to municipal sites.
• We prefer bulk and refillable products and deposit-return drinks.
• In rooms we offer amenities on request and use refillable soap and shampoo dispensers.
• Sensor dispensers and digital archiving reduce our paper consumption.

07Chemical consumption

• We use eco-certified chemicals with the least environmental impact and keep MSDS records for all chemicals.
• In the garden we prefer organic treatments and slow-release fertiliser wherever possible.
• Our pool has an automatic dosing system.
• Chemical stores have spill trays, and we take precautions against leaks during transport and maintenance.
• Dosing systems and staff training help us reduce consumption.

08Protecting the local environment and cultural heritage

Our success is directly linked to the culture, traditions and people that shape our region. Through our website, information channels, signage and staff, we share local information, our cultural heritage, national parks and endangered plants and animals with our guests.

We support local purchasing and local entrepreneurs and stay in contact with local authorities and the community. Brochures about the city are available at reception, and we track guest satisfaction through surveys and Google reviews.
